Type of Program or Service:
- The Edge Job Club is a 4-week enhanced Job Club with graduated hours, with information & discussions of employment issues relating to persons with disabilities, such as disclosure of disability, arranging accommodations, & information on community resources & supports.
The Edge Program also offers clients the following:
* Winning techniques for successful interviews;
* Techniques on how to run a successful, self directed job search;
* Skills to access the hidden job market & build your network;
* Basic word-processing & internet training;
* Telephone, fax, computer/internet access & photocopying services;
* Access to a comprehensive employer database, typing tutor & an excellent list of web sites to visit.
Eligibility: available to all job seekers with disabilties, at no cost.
