    Type of Program or Service:
    The CAREER HIGHWAY Job Search Program provides group and/or individual employment services to persons with limited or no Canadian experience, in need of additional assistance with their job search & career exploration. Clients can access short modular Employment Skills Workshops.

    Our Program embraces 3 major components: Empowerment, Connecting and Supporting.

    Program includes:
    • Job Search Skills Assessment sessions,
    • Modular Employment Skills Workshops on interview techniques, resume writing, labour market information, etc;
    • Self-marketing coaching sessions,
    • Industry Trade Talks,
    • 1:1 career & job search counselling.

    Clients will have access to an internal resource centre and the support of the Call Centre/Career Café.

    Information sessions every Tuesday at 10:00 am. Call to register or drop by.

    Eligibility: Open to unemployed immigrants entitled to work in Canada. Priority given to people receiving Employment Insurance (E.I.) or having had a previous E.I. claim.
