- PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL WORKERS’ PROGRAM - N Vancouver
Type of Program or Service:
- This is a program to assist men & women with professional, managerial, or technical skills, to find appropriate employment.
The program is divided into two sections/groups:
1) the PTW INTENSIVE program - for job seekers who have Canadian professional work experience, it is mainly one-to-one coaching, as well as a series of 3 workshops offered twice each month.
2) the PTW IMMIGRANT program - for recent immigrants who have not yet had a professional job in Canada, it consists mainly of one-to-one coaching, as well as 6 workshops over a two week period.
Both groups receive:
* Job search workshops;
* Expert one-to-one employment coaching by experienced employment counsellors, which can continue for three to four months if needed.
Eligibility: Open to job-ready, unemployed men & women with post-secondary education and professional, managerial, or technical skills.
